Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Cairo

Arrive Cairo, and transfer to the selected hotel

Day 2: Cairo – Memphis – Sakkara – Pyramids and  Sphinx

Your morning begins with a tour of Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt dating from 3,100 BC; the legendary city of Menes; and the necropolis of Sakkara with the oldest known of Egypt’s 107 pyramids. After lunch, your pyramid visit includes the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx. Return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 3: Cairo – Egyptian Museum – Coptic & Islamic Cairo – Khan El Khalili Bazar

After breakfast in your hotel, visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, the world’s greatest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts, including golden treasures from the world-famous tomb of King Tutankhamen. After lunch, we will visit the Islamic Cairo Mosque of Sultan Hassan and Old Cairo with its ancient Coptic Churches end the day by a stroll through the bustling Khan El-Khalili bazar, founded in the 14th century and one of the largest bazars in the Middle East.

Day 4: Cairo – Free day 

Breakfast and free day. An optional day tour to Alexandria

Day 5: Luxor – Karnak & Luxor Temples 

After breakfast, transfer to the Cairo airport to board your flight to Luxor. Arriving at Luxor you will be taken to your hotel with a visit to the Karnak Temple the largest man-made religious building and Luxor Temples on the east bank of Luxor.

Day 6: Luxor, Abydos

This morning we take a bus ride north of Luxor following the river Nile to visit Abydos Temple the finest of all of Egypt in carving and colors, then we return to our hotel in Luxor.

Day 7:  Esna – Vally of Kings – Colossi of Memnon – Hatshepsut Temple

After breakfast, we visit the Valley of the Kings and Nobles on the west bank of Luxor. You’ll also visit the Hatshepsut Temple, the Colossi of Memnon, then we drive to Esna to embark on our special sailing boat for Lunch on board, as we start our sailing up the Nile toward Edfu, enjoy your dinner on board (B.L.D)

Day 8: Edfu, the Nile River

After our breakfast, your Egyptology will take you on a guided tour to El Kab site where we will enjoy some remarkable tombs of the Nobles and army generals. We return to our boat for rest and lunch as we continue sailing get ready to dine on a lavish buffet of Egyptian specialties as you enjoy local music and dancing. (B.L.D)

Day 9: Edfu, the Nile River, Kom-Ombo

After our breakfast, we arrive at Edfu where we will take a morning tour of the extraordinarily Temple of Horus. Edfu Temple, one of Egypt’s best-preserved temples dedicated to Horus, the guardian god of the king. The falcon is a prominent decoration. It is one of the last Ptolemaic temples, finished only a few decades before the rise of Anthony and Cleopatra. We return to the boat for Lunch and sailing towards Com Ombo. Then we gather around for our dinner. (B.L.D).

Day 10: Com-Ombo, the Nile River, and Aswan

After breakfast on board, visit the Temple of Kom Ombo before returning to the boat for lunch as you cruise to Aswan. Relax and enjoy sceneries and enjoy your last evening aboard ship with a gala dinner.  (B.L.D).

Day 11: Aswan

In the morning, after breakfast, we check out our boat and we tour the Aswan High Dam for a look at contemporary Egyptian construction on a monumental scale. Later a short motorboat ride brings you to the Philae Temple on the Island of Agilkia, after which you’ll visit the granite quarries and their Unfinished Obelisk. After lunch, we check in the Hotel for rest tonight we have a chance to explore the city of Aswan’s famous market. (B.L.D).

Day 12: Aswan

This morning we cross the river and pay a visit to Elephantine Island with its monuments from a different period of history then we enjoy a beautiful ride through the Nile first Cataract and experience lunch at a Nubian house as well as pay a visit to Sohail island where great ancient inscription was found there from thousands of years. We return to the hotel for rest and enjoy the sunset by the hotel (B/B)

Day 13: Aswan, Abu Simbel, Cairo

After breakfast, we check out our hotel, and, fly to Abu Simbel.  Visit the outstanding temples of Abu Simble, we fly to Cairo, overnight at the selected hotel. (B/B)

Day 14: Cairo -final departure

Per your international flight itinerary, you will be transferred to the airport to your homeward flight. (B).
